AM

Parents... please note that our blogs will soon only be posted in our Google Classroom.  To establish our online presence we (re)familiarized ourselves with Google Classroom and Google Meet.  Your child can show you how they access google classroom using their CBE email and password.  The students worked on two assignments in Google Classroom this morning - a response to our Google Question and a polished copy of their "I Am" poem.  We shared our "Wonders" this morning.

PM

Math - Google Slides - Students visited the google classroom to complete a math task (Math Arrays) and used the "turn in" button to submit their work. Please have your child show you the activity at home. Since some students did not complete the task, I would like them to complete it for homework.

Science - Trees ~~I think... , I wonder... , I discover....  We did not have much time to work on this task. We will continue working on it this week.

Music-  took place in the classroom today. Students came up with their "signature move", and practiced line dances.

🏃🏽 Terry Fox Run:

Hello Prince of Wales!  We are excited to participate in our annual Terry Fox Run. This is our 16th year participating in the run and the 40th Anniversary of the Terry Fox run.  This year we are not collecting donations at the school, however if you would like to donate please visit www.terryfox.ca/PrinceofWales to donate if you so choose.  Donating is completely optional.

Due to circumstances this year we are unable to host the head shave/ponytail chop, but we can continue with our annual run on the ridge.

Teacher’s will be sending out a date and time for their classes to participate in the run on the ridge.  Dates and times will vary due to social distancing.  (our run time is Friday from 10:30-11:30)

We look forward to encouraging our students to “Be like Terry” by fostering his values of determination, courage, perseverance and compassion. Don’t forget to wear Red and White on Run day!
